Questions

  1. Who is the first "him" talking about in verse 4? What about the second "him?"

  2. How does the stone imagery help us understand the two ways that people respond to Jesus?

Reflection

Think about verse 9. God is calling those who believe in Jesus to a very important and special role. What are we supposed to do with this role? How does it look to live out this high calling?
